Khumaltar, Nepal Police victorious

Kathmandu – FC Khumaltar and Nepal Police Club achieved significant victories in the ongoing Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League on Tuesday.

In an intense battle, Khumaltar emerged victorious with a 1-0 win over Satdobato Youth Club. The lone goal was scored by Messouke Olomou in the 38th minute, securing the much-needed victory for his team. This goal also marked Messouke’s 15th goal in the league, making him the joint-highest goalscorer alongside Olawale Afeez from Machhindra.

Despite the win, Khumaltar remains at the bottom of the league table with 21 points from 20 matches. Friends, who have the same number of points, stand second to last. However, Satdobato Youth Club maintained its fourth position with 29 points.

Meanwhile, at the ANFA Complex, Nepal Police Club claimed victory against Three Star Club through Ahmad Hijazi’s goal in the 28th minute. The solitary goal proved to be enough for Nepal Police Club to secure the win.

With this triumph, Nepal Police Club climbed to the eighth position in the league standings, surpassing the eight-time league champions, Manang Marshyangdi Club. Nepal Police Club currently has 25 points, while Three Star Club now sits in sixth place with 26 points.
