Kane and Bale thrash Palace

Tottenham Hotspur beat Crystal Palace 4-1 in the Premier League. Thanks to two spectacular goals early in the second half, Spurs are now pushing for the top 4 spot.

Spurs dominated both the halves and took the lead after a sloppy Palace giveaway. Harry Kane ran in on goal and square for Gareth Bale for a simple tap-in. However it seem that Palace gained a foothold in the tie. Christian Benteke outjumped two Spurs defenders to head home Luka Milivojevic’s cross just before the break.

But the equalizer couldn’t last long. Jose Mourinho’s side stormed out of the tunnel and went up 3-1 in a matter of minutes. Bale scored his second of the night. While Spurs when 3-1 up as Kane hit a stunner and Vicente Guaita no chance. Kane’s second of the night was then set up by Son-Heung Min for a Premier League record-breaking goal, giving the pair a total of 14 Premier League goals.

Spurs climbed up to sixth position in the table with 45 points.
