Japanese Legend Keisuke Honda Set To Feature At Dasharath Stadium

Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) – Japanese star and former AC Milan footballer Keisuke Honda will feature in the AFC Challenge League playoff match at Dasharath Stadium next month. Nepal’s league champion, Api Power Church Boys United, will face Bhutan’s Paro Football Club in the Challenge League qualifier on August 13.

Paro has contracted Japanese midfielder Honda for this match and has also signed nearly a dozen foreign players and will bring other Japanese players to Nepal.

Additionally, defender Marko Ivanovic, who played for FC Chitwan in the Nepal Super League last season, and midfielder William Opoku, who played for Birgunj United, are also part of Paro’s team. Pushpalal Sharma coaches the team which includes players from Bhutan’s national team.

HamroKhelkud will broadcast the game live. Church Boys have partnered with Khalti for ticket sales, with prices set at Rs 200 for general admission and Rs 500 for VIP.
