Interim head coach Humagain arrives in Nepal

Kathmandu – Nepal National Football Team will begin its training ahead of Bangladesh friendlies on Friday. The All Nepal Football Association’s newly appointed spokesperson Suresh Shah informed that the players called up for the close camp must report to ANFA by Wednesday.

“We have requested players to come in contact by today. The training is scheduled to start tomorrow. However, training will begin formally on Friday,” ANFA spokesperson Shah informed.  

Pradip Humagain, who was appointed as the interim head coach for the Bangladesh friendly arrived in Nepal from America on Wednesday Morning. He was welcomed by ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai at the ANFA headquarters in Satdobato.  

ANFA is yet to make any decision regarding head coach Abdullah Almutairi who is currently on a three-month leave. ANFA has given the responsibility to decide regarding Almutairi to its General Secretary Kiran Rai. 

Humagain had called up 40 players including young and senior players who were left out by Abdullah Almutairi.
