Nepali Martial Artists Gunraj Ruchal and Denika Rai bagged bronze in the 17th World Muay Thai Competition held from 16 to 23rd November in Thailand.
Gunraj suffered a defeat against Uzbekistan’s player in the second round of the semifinal due to a medical injury, which limited him only to the bronze.
Denki, who vied directly in the semi-final lost to Uzbekistan’s player on the basis of points. Players from 20 nations participated in a week-long competition.
