Lalitpur- Nepal’s national women’s football team goalkeeper Anjila Subba has been appointed as the brand ambassador of Li Ning, one of the leading sports kits company.

Goalkeeper Subba on Friday signed the agreement amid a function in Kathmandu. Rajan Maharjan, CEO of China Trade Link Private Limited which is the authorized distributor of Li Ning brand in Nepal also signed on the agreement. The agreement will last for two years.
As per the agreement, China Trade Link will provide 10 percent of the net profit earned from selling sports kits with the logo ATS 16 to Subba and other sports personalities. Subba, who is also the goalkeeper of APF Club, will receive half of the proceeds.

The company will also provide 5 sets of track suits, 10 T-shirts, 5 pairs of shoes, 20 pairs of socks and cap to Subba on a yearly basis. She will also get 35 percent discount on the purchase of sports kits of Li Ning brand.
As per the agreement, Subba will not be allowed to promote other sports kits of other brands unless she is playing for the national team or club football.

Subba said that she will use the Li Ning brand in a movie being shot in her name ‘Anjila’ where she plays the lead role.
Anjila Subba is the first-choice goalkeeper of the national team as well as Nepal APF Football Club. She was the goalkeeper when APF lifted the national league last season. She played professional football in Pakistan’s national league from Masa United where she captained the club.
