Kathmandu (Hamro Khelkud) – Supporters of Chelsea Football Club, the reigning champions of the English Premier League are traveling to Singapore to watch a pre-season match. Chelsea will take on German champions Bayern Munich in a pre-season friendly which will be played in National Stadium of Singapore.
Six supporters from Chelsea Nepal, official supporter’s club of Chelsea Football Club will make the trip to Southeast Asia. Chelsea started their pre-season with a convincing 3-0 win over city rivals Arsenal and will take on Inter Milan in few days time.
One of the supporters who is set to make the journey, Saurav Ghimire said that he is excited to see his beloved team play. ‘I have been supporting Chelsea since my childhood and I am sure the first match is going to be a special one. I am very excited to watch the match in front of my eyes. It’s like a dream come true.’
Along with Saurav, Yadav Bhandari, Bishwas Kharel, Dipesh Timalsina, Rojit Thapa and Aviral Ghimire are also traveling to Singapore.
