Authorities to allow spectators during Nepal’s friendly matches against Mauritius

By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu - Government authorities have granted permission to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) to allow spectators during Nepal’s friendly matches against Mauritius. According to ANFA, spectators will be allowed to fill one-third capacity of the Dasharath Stadium during the two friendly matches. The total capacity of the stadium is 16,500. ANFA will organize the matches by allowing around 5,000 spectators, informed ANFA General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar. Four Mauritius players tested positive for COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Four players from the Mauritius National Football Team, who came to play two friendly matches with the Nepali national football team, have been tested positive for COVID-19. The visiting Mauritius national team arrived in Nepal on Monday afternoon. According to the Mauritius team, four players were found to be infected in the corona test conducted after their arrival in Nepal. Players Lois Michel, Walter St. Martin, Kerlson Agathe and Hans Patate have been infected. The health condition of all the infected is normal and they are currently in isolation, Mauritius said.
