U20 preliminary squad down to 30

By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu - Nepal National U20 Women's Football team head coach Yam Gurung has brought his preliminary squad down to 30. Mira Rai, Rojina Bista, Anisha Kunwar, Dipa Pun, Sushila KC, Birshana Chaudhary, Salina Saru, Mandira Rai, Barsha Oli, and Senu Pariyar failed to book their spot in the 30-membered preliminary squad. The Nepal U20 Women's squad will vie in SAFF U20 Women's Championship to be held at Dhaka from February 3 to 9. By a Staff Reporter Pokhara - Bhutanese Youth SC Minnesota secured a narrow margin victory over high-flying Church Boys United to set the final date with Sankata Club. Both teams received multiple goal-scoring opportunities since the beginning. However, Church Boys United failed to capitalize on any as they suffered a 1-0 defeat in a close contest match here at Pokhara Rangashala. Rojin Prajapati headed the ball home in injury time of the first half. Church Boys' custodian Kishore Giri, who made numerous of saves throughout the match, failed to punch away the cross from the left flank of the box in the 45+3rd minute.
