Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) – Nepal Super League team outfit Butwal Lumbini FC have revealed their marquee signing for the upcoming second edition of the franchise league. They’ve signed Nepal international Arik Bista as their marquee player.

Lumbini have signed Arik following strong performances for the national team, where he’s played across multiple positions. Arik, a talented 23-year-old midfielder, played a key role in helping Church Boys United win the title in the team’s first appearance in the Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League.
Arik expressed his joy for becoming Lumbini’s marquee player, saying, “I’m happy to be a part of Lumbini, and I have high hopes for our team. Our goal this time is to compete for the title.”
In the first edition of the Nepal Super League, Lumbini didn’t make it past the playoffs. The NSL auctions will held in Kathmandu on Saturday, and the second edition of NSL is set to start on November 24. Dhangadhi FC and FC Chitwan have also announced their marquee signings- Aashish Chaudhary and Bishal Shrestha, respectively.
