Atletico lost to Levante

La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid were left in shock as they lost to Levante 0-2. It was their first league defeat in 12 games.

Morales gave Levante the early lead. A deflected strike, shot inside the box was enough to deceive keeper Oblak to find the net. Atletico had a poor first half and couldn’t produce many chances.

Atletico took just five points from four games in February, ceding ground in the title race to champions Real as well as Barcelona. If Barcelona defeats Cadiz on Sunday, will come within six points of the leaders.
