Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) – Nepal APF Club have won the title of the PM Women’s Cup National Championship 2080. APF, led by Sita Rana Magar, defeated Koshi Province, led by Rubina Chhetri, by 11 runs to win the title.

Chasing a target of 115 runs, Koshi managed to score 103 in 20 overs at the loss of just four wickets. Skipper Rubina Chhetri’s innings of 62 runs in 58 deliveries with seven fours and a six couldn’t be enough to get her side over the line.

With 16 runs required off the final over, Rubina was stumped in the first ball off Karuna Bhandari and Koshi’s chances derailed.

Opener Apsari Begam could only manage to score eight runs before being run out. Rubina and Kajol Shrestha put up a stand of 60 runs for the second wicket. Kajol was dismissed by Sita in the 17th over on 22 runs. APF’s Karuna Bhandari and Sita Rana Magar took a wicket each.
