Kathmandu – Nepal APF Club’s opener Asif Sheikh has been adjudged the player of the tournament during the Prime Minister Cup T20 National Cricket Championship which concluded on Wednesday.

Sheikh won the award for helping APF win the title.
Sheikh had performed exceptionally well throughout the tournament to help APF win the title. He scored two half centuries in six matches and a total of 227 runs.
Similarly, Lumbini Province’s spinner Anil Kharel was declared the best bowler of the tournament. The left-handed spinner took 10 wickets in four matches. Although Lumbini crashed out from the group stage, Kharel’s performance remained memorable.
Kushal Bhurtel of Nepal Police Club won the award of the best batsman. Although Bhurtel did not play the semifinal and final due to health reasons, his performance in the group state was outstanding. He had scored 182 runs in four matches at a strike rate of 143.
APF had won the title of the championship on Wednesday defeating Nepal Police Club by 21 runs.
