Para judo players mark World Environment Day

Kathmandu – Nepal Deaf and Blind Para Judo Association marked the World Environment Day on June 5 by organizing various programmes.

Officials of the association, para judo athletes, Austria’s Olympian Sabrina who featured in the mega sporting event four times and also scaled Mount Everest, were involved in the clean-up of the New Baneshwar-based hostel of Deaf School, Naxal. They also planted trees on the occasion, according to Dharma Kumar Shrestha, senior vice president of the association who is also the general secretary of Nepal Judo Association.

The hostel has a judo hall where Olympian Sabrina briefed the para athletes about World Environment Day.
