Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) – Nepal’s official warm-up matches ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup will be against the USA and Canada. The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the schedule that features encounters against the two associate nations.
Both warm-up matches will take place at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, with Nepal facing Canada on May 27 and the USA on May 30. Nepal are also set to play a World Cup match against the Netherlands at the same venue.
Having arrived in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for World Cup preparations, the Nepali team have played two practice matches against the Winwards Volcanoes, winning both with a third match yet to be played.
Nepal is scheduled to play two World Cup matches in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The team will depart for Houston on May 19, following a final practice match on May 18.
Prior to the World Cup, Nepal will play practice matches against the Houston Hurricanes at the Prairie View Cricket Complex in Houston on May 22 and 23. This venue hosted practice matches during Nepal’s previous visit during the League-2 in 2022.
Nepal will travel to Dallas on May 25, where they will play two World Cup warm-up matches at the Grand Prairie ground, as per the ICC schedule.
