Nepal To Bat First In League 2 Opener Against Namibia

Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) – Nepal are set to bat first in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 opener against Namibia at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. Nepal have been invited to bat after the Namibian skipper Gerard Erasmus won the toss and opted to field first.

Anil Shah and Aasif Sheikh, who were pitted against one another for the opening spot alongside Kushal Bhurtel, get the nod while Aarif Sheikh will sit out the first match.

Dipendra Singh Airee is unavailable for the hosts as he is currently in the UAE with Gulf Giants in the International League T20.
