Nepal Ranks 19th in ODI Again

Kathmandu – Nepal has maintained a status quo in the One-Day International (ODI) ranking released by the International Cricket Council on Wednesday.

According to the state-owned RSS, the men’s national cricket team of Nepal has remained in the 19th spot in the new ranking released by the ICC. Nepal was ranked 19th during the last update of the ranking as well.    

According to the new ranking unveiled by the ICC, the world governing body of cricket, New Zealand has remained atop the ranking while England is placed second. India is ranked third.    

Likewise, Pakistan is in the fourth position followed by Australia (fifth), South Africa (sixth) and Bangladesh (seventh) in the ranking. Similarly, Sri Lanka is in the eighth position in the ranking while West Indies secured the ninth place and Afghanistan tenth.    

According to the ICC’s official website, Nepal played 18 matches in the review period and earned 298 points while its rating was 17.
