Manchester City, Liverpool target Ricardo Pepi

If reports are to be believed, FC Dallas youngster has been spotted by different clubs in the Europe with Manchester City and Liverpool both keeping an eye on the Texas born Ricardo Pepi.

The list of clubs monitoring the young forward is not just limited to these two European giants, he has also been looked into by Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Bologna.

According to reports in Sky Deutschland and Manchester Evening News, Pep Guardiola and his team Manchester City have been interested in the young forward who scored 13 goals in 30 matches for FC Dallas last season in the Major League Soccer.

The 18 years old youngster has scored 2 goals and assisted 2 in World Cup Qualifier Campaign for the United States Soccer team.

Whilst interests from the names like Liverpool and Manchester City, Pepi has publicly named Real Madrid as his dream team.

Besides, bunch of European clubs, to name few, Wolfsburg, Ajax, Sampdoria are interested in the USMT forward Ricardo Pepi.

It is assumed that the FC Dallas forward would cost around $15 million and with FC Dallas’s transfer strategy to make money out of homegrown players, it is likely that he’d been seen in Europe soon. As 90 min reports, Pepi has already let FC Dallas know his interest to play in Europe and has handed a transfer request.

Pepi models the Bayen Munich forward Robert Lewandowski as his idol and with Bayern Munich’s previous history and partnership with FC Dallas, one wouldn’t be surprised if the German giants land Pepi into their team.
