Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) – Namibia’s Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton has smashed the fastest century in T20 internationals against Nepal in the first match of the T20I Tri-Series in Kathmandu.
Loftie-Eaton broke Kushal Malla’s 34-ball record made against Mongolia at the Asian Games in 2023 to get to the century in 33 deliveries and now has the record to his name.
He got out for 101 runs in 36 deliveries at the TU International Cricket Ground with 11 fours and eight sixes in his innings.
Namibia have posted a mammoth total of 206 runs at the loss of just four wickets in 20 overs in the first T20I of the series.
