Kathmandu (Hamro Khelkud) – Nepal is on the tour of Japan for the preparation of next month’s AFC Asian Cup Qualifier match against Tajikistan. Nepal had arrived in Japan on Friday and had started their training on the very day.
According to team captain Anil Gurung, the Nepali team held a training session today as well. Nepal will be playing against Clubs, University and age group teams in their Japan tour from August 13 to 16. Nepal is scheduled to play more friendly matches in their preparation for the Asian Cup Qualifier match compared to last time. Nepal will be playing Tajikistan in the third game of Asian Cup Qualifiers next month.
Nepal will play against J-league club Gamba Osaka’s U-23 team on Sunday. As per the information provided by All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the details of Nepal’s 5 friendly matches are as follows:
1. August 13 – vs Gamba Osaka U-23, 1545 NST
2. August 16 – vs Kwansei Gakuin University, 1315 NST
3. August 17 – vs Amitie Sports Club, 0615 NST
4. August 18 – vs Hanan University, 1315 NST
5. August 19 – vs Vissel Kobe U-18, 1245 NST
