KC returns to Three Star

Kathmandu – The renowned coach in Nepali Football Meghraj KC returned to the Patan-based Three Star Club after spending a season with Satdobato Youth Club.

The club on Tuesday informed the signing of KC. KC, who left Three Star Club to join the top-flight league’s newcomer Satdobato Youth Club and helped them finish fourth in their debut season. Three Star Club had finished third and fourth under KC in the Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Divison League seasons 18/19, and 19/20.

KC had previously led Three Star to the title of multiple Mofasal Tournaments. However, KC is yet to win the Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Divison League in his coaching career.

Along with KC, Goal Keeper Coach Ujjwal Manandhar too found his way back to Three Star Club. The three times Nepal’s premier division champions Three Star Club look slothful in roping in the players. However, the club had extended contracts with some of its former players.

The Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League 2023 is set to kick off on March 3. The league will be held on a double round-robin format for the first time in a decade.
