Kathmandu – Himalayan Sherpa Club, Satdobato Youth Club, and Manang Marshyangdi Club secured three points in the Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League 2023 on Wednesday.
Amrit Shrestha found the back of the net in the 8th minute of the second half’s injury time to confirm Himalayan Sherpa’s first victory of the season at Dasarath Stadium. The victory helped Himalayan Sherpa reach fourth place in the points table, with a total of 4 points.
Meanwhile, William Opoku Asideu’s screamer helped Satdobato Youth Club defeat APF Football Club 1-0 at Chyasal Stadium. William scored a stunning goal from halfway in the 55th minute, taking advantage of APF’s Japanese goalie Yuya Kuriyama being out of position. Satdobato, recording their second victory in the league moved up to the second place.
Moreover, Sayidjamol Davlatjonov’s lone goal helped Manag confirm their victory. Sankata’s custodian Tikendra Singh Thapa accidentally directed the ball into the goalpost while attempting to clear it in the 54th minute of the match.
