HamroKhelkud To Broadcast Church Boys’ Challenge League Playoffs

Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) – HamroKhelkud is set to broadcast API Power Church Boys United’s AFC Challenge League preliminary round matchup against Paro FC later this month. The agreement was signed on Friday between Church Boys and HamroKhelkud.

Church Boys’ president Tankalal Rai an HamroKhelkud chief editor Prakash Timilsina signed the agreement.

The play-off match between Church Boys and Bhutan’s league champions Paro FC will be held on August 13 at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu. .
Church Boys have already started preparations for this. In the team under the captaincy of Ananta Tamang, Anjan Bista and Arik Bista, who were in the team during the league season, have renewed their contracts.

Goalkeeper Deep Karki, defender Sanish Shrestha, midfielder Laken Limbu and forward Ayush Ghalan have also joined the Church Boys. Church Boys are also preparing for the signing of some foreign players. Balgopal Maharjan is the head coach of the team. Church Boys won the league under his coaching.

If they win the playoff match against Paro, Church Boys will advance to the group stage of the AFC Challenge League. The team that wins the playoffs will receive $100,000. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced the tournament on Thursday as part of the revised AFC club competition structure. 18 teams will compete in the group stage of the tournament.
