Nepal National Football team goalkeeper and skipper Kiran Chemjong makes a marriage proposal to his lover after clinching the title of Dhivehi Premier League (DPL) at Maldives.
Kiran, who was also awarded with the best goalkeeper of the league, proposed to his girlfriend in front of everyone while celebrating the league title with his team. He has also published the video of that moment through his social media. Kiran and his girlfriend Kanchan Niraula who is a flight attendant by profession, were dating for a year and half.
Kiran’s top notch performance helped Mazia Sports and Recreation Club to bag its third consecutive league title. This is the second time that Kiran won the best goalkeeper award in the top class league of Maldives, DPL.
Earlier, Kiran had won the title and was awarded with the best goalkeeper of DPL when he played for TC Sports in 2018. Kiran has won two league titles of DPL from TC Sports and Mazia and Recreation Club each.
Mazia, who were crowned champions with two games in hand, managed to trash Club Eagles by 5-0 in the last game of the league. Asadulla Abdulla scored a brace whereas Ibrahim Wahid Hassan, Neeez Hassan and Hamza Mohammed scored apiece in Mazia’s wide victory.
