General Insurance Company signs sponsorship deal for upcoming volleyball league

Kathmandu – General Insurance Company Nepal Limited has signed a sponsorship deal with Nepal Volleyball Association (NVA). The insurance company signed such deal to sponsor the sixth edition of the RBB NVA Club League Volleyball which begins next week in the capital.

General Insurance Company Nepal Limited’s CEO Ram Chandra Shrestha and NVA Vice President Niroj Maskey signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

As per the agreement, General Insurance Company Nepal Limited will insure all the players, coaches and managers participating in the RBB NVA Club League Volleyball. The insurance coverage will last for the entire league period and a total of 180 individuals including 144 players and 36 coaches and managers will benefit from the scheme.

Following the agreement, NVA Vice President Maskey said that only players, coaches and managers were insured this time and promised to include referees and officials during the next event.

The Sixth RBB NVA National Women’s and Men’s Club League 2078 will be held from May 1 to 7 at the covered hall of the National Sports Council in Tripureshwar.

A total of seven teams will be competing in the men’s event of the league including Tribhuvan Army Club, Nepal Police Club, APF Club, Help Nepal Club, Gandaki Province, Galkot Sports Club, Dhorpatan Sports Club.

The women’s section will feature New Diamond Sports Club, Nepal APF Club, Tribhuvan Army Club, Nepal Police Club and Everest Volleyball Club.
