The city midfield maestro Kevin De Buyne(12M), Chelsea’s newly signed winger Raheem Sterling (10M), and Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes (10m) might be popular picks among the fantasy premier league managers, they all come with a price.

Rodrigo had a decent 2021/22 season where he scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists for Leeds, collecting 85 points and playing 2263 minutes for them.

6. Joelinton Cássio Apolinário de Lira (6.0) – Newcastle United

Joelinton, valued at 6.0M is a regular starter for Newcastle United. He bagged 4 goals and 2 assists last season for Newcastle United, playing 2554 minutes for the Saints.

Newcastle faces Brighton in their second match of the season, followed by Manchester City, Wolves, and Liverpool. The next five fixtures include Crystal Palace, West Ham United, Bournemouth, Fulham, and Brentford. With some easy fixtures to come for Newcastle in the first half of the season, Joelinton could award some good points for the FPL owners.

5. Rúben da Silva Neves (5.5) – Wolves

Ruben Neves had a decent 2021/22 season where he bagged 95 points in 2659 minutes for Wolves. He scored 4 goals and added 2 assists to the team.

Neves is a great set-piece taker for Wolves who can score goals. Valued at on 5.5M, the 25 years old Portuguese has more to offer this season. Neves has scored 21 goals for Wolves since he joined in 2017.

Neves is owned by 1.8% of managers this season.

4. Gabriel Martinelli (6.0) – Arsenal

Martinelli starred in Arsenal’s first game of the season in their 2-0 victory against Crystal Palace. With Gabriel Jesus up front in the Arsenal attack, Martinelli is expected to play a more free role in Arsenal’s midfield.
