Arsenal will face Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday, aiming to make it three wins in a row in all competitions. Burnley now have a chance achieve a league double over Arsenal for the first time since1962-63. Arsenal were defeated 1-0 in the reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal would arrive at Turf Moor in high spirits after their last two performances. Both wins included perhaps their two most remarkable victories of the season. Arsenal did not display any of the wastefulness against Leicester last time out. They beat Leicester 3-1 and have now won four of their last six away games.
Sean Dyche’s side will have to fight hard to keep themselves out of trouble. It’s just six points separating them from the relegation zone. Dych should and must be worried about his team’s attacking form. Burnley has only scored once in their last eight games. They drew a creditable 1-1 draw with Leicester to bounce back from a heavy loss at Tottenham Hotspur the weekend before.
Emile Smith Rowe was injured in their last outing agaist Leicester. Reports suggested that he had some issues in his hip but Arteta said it’s not that significant in terms of intensity. Meanwhile, Burnley will be without Ashley Barnes.
