Kathmandu – The men’s volleyball team of Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) on Tuesday defeated Galkot Sports Club in the 6th RBB NVA National Men’s Club Volleyball Club League 2079 to top the table.
Army defeated Galkot Sports Club 3-0 in straight sets during their match held at the covered hall of Tripureshwar-based National Sports Council (NSC).
During the match, Army registered a 25-12, 25-11 and 25-22 win over its opponent. With the victory, Army has collected nine points from three games to top the table.
Besides Army, Nepal Police Club, APF Sports Club, Help Nepal, Gandaki Province, Galkot Sports Club and Dhorpatan Club are competing in the championship sponsored by Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB).
Earlier on Monday, both the men’s and women’s teams of Army had won their respective matches. The men’s team of Army had defeated Gandaki Province 25-19, 25-8, 25-19. Likewise, the women’s team of Army had beaten Everest Volleyball Club 25-19, 25-7, 25-18.
