Kathmandu – Sudurpaschim Province stunned Madesh Province by 7 wickets to confirm their spot in the final of ongoing Wai Wai U19 National Cricket Tournament.
Madesh’s Inning
Sudurpaschim’s 15-year-old debutant Yuvraj Khatri became the limelight of the day. Bowling 9 overs including a maiden, the young spinner hit the stump twice and gave away only 15 runs.
With Naren Saud claiming a 5-wicket haul and Hemant Dhami booking 3 wickets, Madesh packed up their innings in 38.1 overs for 122 runs. Madesh’s middle order batsman Ali Ansari collected the highest of 32 runs for his team off 56 deliveries with 5 fours.
A duck out forced opener Shailendra Sah and captain Abhisekh Tiwari back to the pavilion. Mayan Yadav, who began the inning scored 23 off 28 deliveries with 2 fours and a six.
