A complaint has been lodged with the Nepal Police against Sandeep Lamichhane, the captain of the Nepali cricket team.

Police source confirmed to HamroKhelkud that a complaint was lodged to the Kathmandu Police with allegations of rape on Tuesday. The alleged incident is said to have taken place before Nepali team went to Kenya for a bilateral series.
Lamichhane is currently in St. Lucia to play Caribbean Premier League (CPL) with Jamaica Tallawahs. He left National Team after playing five match T20I series which Nepal won 3-2. Lamichhane was absent in Nepal’s 3-0 win in One Day series as he chose to play CPL during the period.
