Kathmandu – The National Women Volleyball Team members Pratibha Mali and Usha Bhandari are set to compete in Maldives Volleyball League.
Pratibha headed towards Maldives on Tuesday evening whereas Usha will fly to Maldives on Wednesday. While Usha will represent Club Eagles in the league, Pratibha will play for Club Wamco. The league kicks off on January 27 and the final will be played on January 30.
In absence of regular captain Lalita Nath, Pratibha lead the New Diamond Sports Academy in the 7th National NVA Club Championship that concluded earlier this week. Likewise, Usha represented the champions Nepal Police Club (NPC) in the championship.
NPC and New Diamond saw each other in the finals of the championship where NPC outplayed New Diamond by 3-2 in a close contest battle at NSC Covered Hall.
