Kathmandu – National Sports Council’s Member Secretary Tanka Lal Ghising on Monday bade farewell to the national kabaddi team for its preparation for the Asian Games.
The 15-member team and 4 coaches will prepare for the Asiad in Mahendranagar. The national kabaddi team left for Mahendranagar today itself after the farewell.
During the farewell, Ghising said this is not just a training but the first phase of closed camp training. He said that this training will also serve as a preparation for the upcoming Ninth National Games. Although the date of the Asian Games has not been fixed yet, this training will help improve the standard of the players, said Ghising.
He also urged the players to maintain discipline while training.
The NSC has started first phase training for 23 sports disciplines that will take part in the 19th Asian Games.
