Nepal Suffer Second Consecutive Loss in ASIAD Men’s Volleyball

Kathmandu – Nepal Men’s Volleyball team have suffered a second straight loss in the 19th Asian Games (ASIAD) men’s volleyball.

Nepal, in Group ‘B’, suffered a straight-set loss against a strong opposition in Iran. In the match played at the China Textile City Sports Centre Gymnasium on Wednesday, Nepal’s performance was below par against Iran.

Nepal lost the first set 25-9 and the rest of the match was also a straightforward loss. The next two sets went 25-15 and 25-13 in favour of Iran.

Nepal had lost 3-1 against Bahrain in the first match on Tuesday. Nepal won the first set in that match but conceded the next three sets to lose the match.
