Nepal Land 121st In Inaugural Men’s Futsal Rankings

Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) – Nepal have made their debut in the world men’s futsal rankings announced by FIFA in the 121st position. Nepal are included in the rankings that have been announced for the first time by FIFA on Tuesday.

Nepal are absent from the women’s rankings despite making it to the men’s rankings.

Among South Asian nations, only Maldives and India join Nepal in the men’s rankings, with Maldives ranked 110th and India at 135th. Bangladesh are the sole representative from the region in the women’s rankings, holding the 44th position globally.

The inaugural men’s futsal rankings feature 139 countries. Brazil lead the rankings, followed by Portugal and Spain. Iran, the Asian leaders, secure the fourth position globally.

In the women’s rankings, Brazil hold the top spot, with Spain and Portugal following suit. Among Asian nations, Iran rank highest, securing the eighth position globally.
