Manang confirm three matches in Pokhara

Kathmandu – Manang Marshyangdi Club have convinced three clubs to play their matches of the ongoing Qatar Airways Martyrs Memorial A Division League at Pokhara Stadium.

According to an informed source, MMC have reached an understanding with the three clubs to play their respective matches of fifth, seventh and eighth rounds in Pokhara. However, the League Committee of All Nepal Football Association is yet to make an official announcement in this regard.

The clubs that have reportedly agreed to the proposal of MMC to play in Pokhara include Nepal Police Club, Chyasal Youth Club and Brigade Boys Club. MMC will face Police in the fifth round, Chyasal in the seventh round and BBC in the eighth round. MMC are third with seven points at the end of the third round of league.  Police are fourth in the league with five points while BBC are eighth with four points followed by Chyasal in the ninth position.

MMC have pledged to bear all the cost for hosting the matches in Pokhara. The club will collect the money from ticket sales. MMC have been using Pokhara Stadium as their home ground. MMC had taken the initiative to host the matches in Pokhara after ANFA gave the nod in case there is an understanding among the clubs.
