Kathmandu – Heavy rainfall at the TU Cricket Ground on Monday disrupted the second T20 practice match between Nepal and Zimbabwe A. Umpire duo Binay Kumar Jha and Ram Pandey inspected the ground and announced suspension of the match. Nepal will now face Zimbabwe in their third practice match on Wednesday. The hosts had lost the first match by 6 wickets.
Prior to the rainfall, Zimbabwe were invited to bat first after losing the toss and made 48 runs in 4.3 overs losing 2 wickets. Zimbabwe’s Kudzai Maunze was unbeaten on 22 runs off 13 balls. He scored 5 boundaries.
