Kathmandu – Nepal National Football Team Head Coach Vincenzo Alberto Annese has confirmed his final squad for the upcoming friendly matches against Myanmar including seven fresh talents.
The newcomers to the national team are defender Anjan Rai from Nepal Police Club, Chhiring Lama and Hisbu Thapaliya from Jawalakhel Youth Club, Ashish Gurung from Manang Marshyangdi Club, Machhindra’s Utsab Rai, and Tribhuvan Army Football Club’s forward duo Gillespye Jung Karki and Dinesh Henjan.
In addition to the new faces, goalkeeper Abishek Baral and midfielder Kritish Ratna Chhunju are making a return to the national team. Both players are eagerly awaiting their debut in the upcoming friendlies.
The Nepal National Football Team is gearing up for two friendly matches against Myanmar, scheduled for September 8 and 11 in Yangon. These matches serve as crucial preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers.
