Skipper Anjan Bista’s winner was enough to guide Lalitpur City FC to the second qualifier of Nepal Super League. Lalitpur defeated Butwal Lumbini FC by 1-0 in the eliminator match at Dasarath Stadium on Wednesday.

Lalitpur continued their resurgence under caretaker coach Raju Tamang as they registered third consecutive victory. Lalitpur sacked their Head Coach Pradip Humagai after securing just 3 points in first four matches. Tamang made it 3 on 3 after beating Butwal twice in space of a week.
Anjan scored in the second half to put the team ahead after a fine team combination. The cross from the right was headed home by Anjan from just outside the six yard box.
Lalitpur will now face Kathmandu RayZRs FC on Thursday. The winner of this match will play against Dhangadhi FC for the title. Dhangadhi defeated Kathmandu 2-1 in extra time on Tuesday.
