Authorities to allow spectators during Nepal’s friendly matches against Mauritius

Kathmandu – Government authorities have granted permission to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) to allow spectators during Nepal’s friendly matches against Mauritius.

According to ANFA, spectators will be allowed to fill one-third capacity of the Dasharath Stadium during the two friendly matches. The total capacity of the stadium is 16,500. ANFA will organize the matches by allowing around 5,000 spectators, informed ANFA General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar.

Nepal and Mauritius will play two friendly matches – one on coming Saturday (January 29) and another on next Tuesday (February 1). The matches will begin at 4:45 pm. The national football team of Mauritius already arrived in Nepal for the friendlies. The team landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday.

ANFA has fixed the ticket for VIP area at Rs 1000 each while the ticket price for the general parapet has been fixed at Rs 500. According to ANFA, the matches will be held by adhering to the standard health protocols. The spectators must mandatorily produce vaccination card against Covid-19 in order to view the matches.
