Kathmandu – Pravin Shahi Thakuri won the 7th ADSON Charity Golf Tournament here at Gokarna Golf Club on Saturday. Playing with 14 handicap Thakuri carded 42 Stableford to win the trophy and an economy class round trip air ticket to Singapore on Singapore Airlines. Pradip KC was runner-up in the tournament after he carded 39 points.

Sadbhav Acharya won the best gross award with 37 gross points. Reeya Shrestha was the winner among ladies with 21 points on the count back after being tied with Samjhana Khatri.
Tulasi Bhatta was the winner among seniors (60 years and above) with 32 points. Nareshwor Gurung was the super-senior winner with 21 points.
Babu Poudel bagged the closest to the pin award, Jigme Dongtetshang got the longest drive, Tashi Dong got the most birdies and Pasang Sherpa got the straightest drive.
The tournament organized by the Ability Development Society of Nepal was played under the Stableford format with a 3/4 handicap, 61 golfers took part in the event.
Hon. Justice of Supreme Court Anil Kumar Sinha, Chairman of ADSON RR Pandey, fund Development Director Nirmala Gyawali, NGA President Tashi Ghale, Singapore Airlines GM, Melvin Tan, and Founder of The Rose International Foundation for Children Robert Rose gave away the trophies and prizes to the winners of the tournament.
