Koshi All-Out On 25 Against Gandaki, Police Edge Army In A Thriller

By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) - Koshi Province have made a record-breaking lowest total in PM Cup history as they suffered a 142-run loss against Gandaki Province in Mulpani. Koshi, chasing 168 runs in 50 overs, were packed up on just 25 runs by Gandaki. Gandaki batted 15.2 overs to make 25 and lose all their wickets. None of the batters reached double figures. Skipper Ankit Subedi was their highest scorer with eight runs. Four of their batters were dismissed for ducks.  Bipin Khatri took six wickets for Gandaki with Sandeep Parajuli chipping in with three. Madhesh registered a 61-run victory against Karnali Province in Kirtipur to get to six points from five matches so far. The two were announced in their new roles ahead of the PM Cup that is set to commence from Saturday onwards. Malla only last month completed the ICC Level 2 Coaching Course. He also worked as a coach at the Kathmandu Training Centre for a long time. In recent times, he has been associated with the Cricket Excellence Centre alongside Paras Khadka. Just two weeks ago, the court found Sandeep guilty of rape, and today, he received an eight-year prison term. Additionally, he was fined three lakh rupees and ordered to pay two lakhs as compensation to the victim. The charges against Sandeep involved the rape of a minor who he had taken to a hotel in Kathmandu on Bhadra 5 last year.
